Contract Update

The District continues to throw up roadblocks to the final printing of the 2004-08 contract.

In the latest letter from the Murray Law Firm, P.E.A. recently received six (6) more changes to DRAFT 6. One of the suggestions was a typographical error, which the Association appreciated and will, of course, change.

However, other issues contained in the letter were unacceptable to the Association. As a result, by copy of his response to the District, P.E.A. President Pete Tirri has requested another meeting with Fact-finder Martin Scheinman, Esq. for the purpose of having him make what we hope is a final determination of the language so we can finally have the contract printed.

Conversations have already been held as a result of P.E.A.'s request, and we hope this matter can swiftly be brought to a conclusion.
